Training Situation: Training (small group)
Length: 60 minutes
Objectives: Participants will take a Project Implicit test in order to reflect on the needs of nondominant youth in their program.
Agenda:
Participants will design a sandwich “protector” to learn how engineers use multiple practices to design solutions.
Participants will watch the Assessing Youth Using Sticky Notes video-based learning module and identify ways to use a stick note chart during STEM activities.
Participants will develop strategies to support emerging STEM identities using the Building for the Big One activity.
