You can register for a Community of Practice cohort online.  Each cohort has 4 sessions.  Sessions are not recorded – this is an interactive virtual learning experience.  The facilitator can explain what was covered if you have to miss a session, but there is no recording.   You are invited to register right now for the next community of practice. One registration allows you to attend any (or all) of the sessions.

Fall Community of Practice

The Click2Engineering fall community of practice will be September 14 through October 26 and planning is underway for this learning experience.

• September 14 Using a Systematic Engineering Design Process – See how engineers make use of a systematic engineering design process to generate solutions. Designing functional, and safe solutions requires structured, data-driven design, analysis, and testing.  The engineering design process helps engineers approach each problem in a systematic way.
• September 28 Applying Math and Science Knowledge part 1- Learn how engineers use their knowledge of science, math and other area to solve problems – with a focus on applying math knowledge.
• October 12 Applying Math and Science Knowledge part 2 – Learn how engineers use their knowledge of science, math and other area to solve problems – with a focus on applying science knowledge.
• October 26 Using Talk Moves in Engineering – Join us to talk about Engineering Educator Talk Moves and learn what to say to youth to support their ideas during Engineering activities.
