This group has learned about how wood is used for cooking and the hazards of cooking with a wood fire. They are designing, building and testing cook stoves.
As you watch the video of youth testing their cook stoves, think about these questions:
- How does the facilitator help youth think through what did not work as they test their cook stoves?
- How does the facilitator encourage youth to collaborate as engineers and learn from one another?
- What questions did the facilitator ask to encourage youth to focus on their challenges during the redesign and retesting phases?
Now that you’ve watched the video, reflect on what you saw and post your responses.
