Coaching Situation: Coaching (one-on-one)
Length: 15 minutes
Objectives: Participants will reflect on their facilitation to learn to get youth actively engaged in STEM learning.
Agenda:
Participants will develop strategies to support emerging STEM identities using the Building for the Big One activity.
Participants will demonstrate the importance of models when trying to answer questions, draw conclusions and develop solutions in engineering.
Participants will do an idea walk in order to add more opportunities for youth to connect their prior knowledge to STEM activities.
